July 1960: A giant spherical mass of unidentified meat washed onto the shores of Tasmania. Covered in a thin coarse fur and with a thick flesh, this spherical ‘thing’ seemed to be moving in a slow crawl down the beach. At times hidden in the sand and at others turning slowly, almost motionless to the naked eye.
A heap of swollen, eyeless, mystery.
